A destacar
El Dr. Luis Bujanda ocupa el cargo de Presidente de la Asociación Española de Gastroenterología desde marzo de 2016. Nuestro grupo coordina la “European Network for the Study of Cholangiocarcinoma (ENSCCA: www.enscca.org)”, compuesta por 30 grupos/centros de investigación europeos y 7 de USA, que en 2016 recibió premio “EASL Registry award 2016” de la “European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL)” para crear una base de datos europea de pacientes con colangiocarcinoma (CCA), la cual contendrá información clínica así como muestras biológicas. En la ENSCCA y en la “EU CCA Registry database” participan además 3 grupos del CIBEREHD del Área de Oncología [Jordi Bruix (Hospital Clinic), Bruno Sangro (CUN) y José Juan Garcia Marin (IBSAL)].
Por otro lado, nuestro grupo organizó en mayo de 2016 el “I International Congress of CCA” en San Sebastian). Además, nuestro grupo participa en el “International Registry of Polycystic Liver Diseases” (EASL Registry Award 2014) y en el Registro Español de Enfermedades metabólicas del hígado (HEPAMET). Nuestro grupo partica también en el primer estudio internacional GWAS sobre CCA (http://cholangiocarcinoma.org /professionals/action-alert-mayo-clinic-study/)
